More room to ski. More to look after.
Expand or maintain? A ski-resort reward choice
A ski-resort game ↗A new lift or another snowcat? Choosing expansion gives my resort a harder run—and leaves upkeep waiting.
At the end of the day, I can choose a lift to expand or another snowcat to help maintain the resort. I chose the lift and planned a new, winding, harder piste.
Putting construction first overnight opened the new run, but left maintenance unfinished on the old slope. Skiers noticed the rough snow. More room to ski also means more to look after.
